The HoCo® Hob Cover is a metal tray that covers your whole hob.
The HoCo® is manufactured in aluminium and then powder-coated. The coating is electrostatically applied and then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". It creates a hard finish that is tougher than conventional painting but doesn't make it scratch-proof. The coating process makes the HoCo® Hob Cover strong and sturdy, yet light and portable, but treat it like you would any piece of furniture to keep it looking good. HoCo® is a safe, flat surface to put hot, heavy dishes on, but protect it with a cloth before using it as an extra worktop. When placed over a recently extinguished hob HoCo® deflects a lot of the heat so that the surface of it isn't as hot as the hob! For this reason HoCo® has become very popular with parents of young children and pet owners. Wandering fingers are kept safe. Cats paws too!

HoCo® increases the workspace and will compliment all styles of kitchen with any colour scheme. It requires no specialist fitting and is not hinged - just place it over your hob. HoCo® is the perfect addition to any kitchen!
As time went by friends and family asked for covers to be made and that's how it stayed, a few requests here and there until Designal was formed in 2009 and the name HoCo® was registered. It was the start of an exciting journey to see how popular these HoCo® Hob Covers would become.
Designal Limited was formed in 2009, HoCo® registered in 2009. The HoCo® was exhibited at The Ideal Home Show at Earl's Court in 2011, expanding Designal's audience.
